Position: Sales Executive

We are seeking a proactive and engaging Sales Executive to harness the potential of a growing lead pool driven by innovative affiliate programs and targeted marketing efforts. We are seeking a versatile and experienced sales professional proficient in B2C, B2B, and B2G markets, equipped with superior communication abilities, persuasive negotiation skills, and a drive to excel in Nigerian, African and global markets.

 

The ideal candidate MUST be well-spoken, an excellent copywriter, have passion and enthusiasm and approach lead nurturing and cold marketing with a dynamic, professional presence. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the direction of our sales strategy, work intimately with a dedicated team, and contribute significantly to our international expansion, ensuring Zino Aviation's continued ascent in the aviation sector.

 

You will have the opportunity to develop your range of skills, be heard and make your mark as the business continues to develop. Being part of a small, tight team and working closely with members across the organisation will mean rolling up your sleeves and having a very hands-on and proactive approach.

 

The candidate must have relevant Sales experience with proven successful results.

As our Sales Executive, your job is to Contact, Convince, and Close.

Key Responsibilites

  • Efficiently manage and diligently follow up on leads generated from various channels including form submissions, email inquiries, and affiliate referrals.

  • Engage in proactive telemarketing and sales calls to convert leads into customers.

  • Craft and deliver clear, convincing sales pitches that resonate with both local and international clientele.

  • Maintain and build client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and client satisfaction.

  • Maintain regular contact with potential clients, nurturing relationships and moving leads through the sales funnel.

  • Implement sales strategies that align with company goals and target markets.

  • Keep abreast of aviation industry trends and use this knowledge to inform sales tactics and strategies.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize the affiliate program and generate a high volume of quality leads.

  • Employ cold marketing techniques, including cold calls, cold emails, and proactive LinkedIn/social media outreach, to generate new leads.

  • Participate in strategy sessions to improve lead generation and conversion processes.

  • Ensure all communications are professional, representing Zino Aviation's brand and values to an international audience.

Preferred Skills

  • Must have proven experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding targets in B2B and B2C sales contexts. B2G inexperience is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with an international audience.

  • Exceptional articulation, clarity, and superior persuasive abilities.

  • Possess an appealing and clear voice, with excellent spoken English, easily understood by an international audience.

  • Energetic and passionate, with a high-energy personality that resonates in all forms of communication.

  • Familiarity with the aviation industry is advantageous.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of leads effectively.

  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Availability to work flexible hours when required to accommodate international time zones.

  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft clear, professional, and engaging sales content and emails.

  • Experience with CRM systems, proficient in data entry and lead tracking.

  • Comfortable with flexible hours to cover multiple time zones and client availability.

  • A bachelor's degree or qualification in any of the following fields (or similar) is an advantage: Business Administration/Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Entrepreneurship, International Business Management or Professional Selling.
